1. The page on the science panels is in the Reading the Environment link, part one, paragraph 83 is under 2009 Course updates, editing #83, and the brainstorming on pollution, just do a wheel with the word pollution in the center. The PowerPoint presentations are due starting next week. Let me know if you have any further questions.

"Havel Eassy" "Not Knowing" doesnt relieve us of responsibility toward future generations" In this he is just saying people of today dont really know about global warming and dont really care. We know that it is a big problem but we dont try to do anything to fix it or make it better.Being that we dont really know about it that doesnt give us the right to try to ignore the problem in the future.

"Extra Credit" "o you think the glaciers in Greenland could melt in your lifetime?" I think with all of these global warming problems, if it doesnt get under control then the glaciers could melt. I also feel that something needs to be done because if the problem gets bigger then we could be in great danger.

"The effects of possible climate changes are hard to estimate" this is true because nobody knows what the climate is going to be like but god.people can predict what the weather is going to be like but nobody can get the climate just right

Dr. Comprone,

"The end of the world has been anticipated many times and has never come, of course. And it won’t come this time either." I feel that we dont know when the world will end unitl lgod think it is time for everybody to leave this world and go on to a better place. Nobody even scientist can determined when the world will end.
This is my quote from Vaclav Havel's. Anitra Whitfield

Dr. Comprone,

The movie on the polar bears was really good for us to watch. It helps you to understand more about polar bears and with the glaciers.
