I have taught taiji since the early 1990s in California, Maine, and Virginia. I am currently certified to teach Chen Style Old Frame taiji (the first and second forms). Chen style is an ancient martial art and is the original form of taiji. The Chen style I practice can be traced to Xian Province in China. I originally studied Yang Style taiji and then moved on to Chen Style.  Taiji is an internal martial art and therefore requires discipline and commitment to learn. It is considered the most useful martial art because it develops one's health, lowers blood pressure, and harmonizes the body and the mind. I also teach pushing hands, a two person exercise for taijiquan.
